How were Alabama and LSU introduced before the BCS championship game?

I don't think Alabama and LSU were "labeled". Last year Auburn was introduced as SEC champions and Oregon was introduced as Pac 10 champions. So ESPN labeled the teams last year during the introduction but didn't this year? Guess it was all about a "re-match" instead of a Championship game.

Must be a conspiracy. ESPN hates LSU and loves Alabama. It's a liberal media agenda.

Right, somehow saying LSU, SEC champions and Alabama, chumps who came in 2nd in the SEC west is not that impressive.

Losing in the SECCG doesn't put you at 2nd place in the conference, Bama finished 2nd in the conference because Georgia lost to SEC games while Bama only lost 1.

I love going to Krystals now and seeing LSU fans, I always mock them and then when they talk back I threaten to teabag them. It's funny when they are cool about it, when they take it as offensive I just make fun of them again. Glad to see someone from the SECr who isn't stuck up about it.

The way things are going, we (Bama) should become an independant and have our own ND-type contract with a TV network. Forget revenue sharing with 13 other teams.

Damn, that arse beating in the BCSNCG and getting raped in recruiting really has LSU fans scrambling.

I think that they were introduced as the number 1 and number 2 ranked team in the nation. That is what they were, and the conference title didn't really matter at that time. Has the SEC champion always gone to the championship game? The number 1 ranked team has always gone....right?

Let's just face it, Alabama is the best there is. We wake up in the morning and piss excellence. The SEC should be honored to have Alabama represent them as THE flagship of the conference.
