Meaning there were things more important to Nick than Football. What those things are? Who knows. But honestly, if extraneous things are more important to him then it might be better he goes somewhere else.

People know I have been critical of the staff, but I give them a pass on this. This wasnt because of anything they did.

According to Pete it wasnt even really a Football decision.

Mizzou took Nick off their recruiting board about a week ago.

I would have to agree with you there. The drama kids are very rarely worth the trouble. Sounds like he could end up being a bust - if other thing are more important, he'll be out-worked by his teammates.

Ramirez have a girlfriend going to KState? I agree. Don't want someone who isn't positive they want to be here. I still wonder though if we had won 8 games and went to a bowl game if it would have played out this way.

His girlfriend went with him on several visits.

It seems our staff cooled on him. Over on the Husker board, they seemed to think he wasn't worth picking up after the decommit. Wonder if he underperformed seriously this year?

Vag causes young men to make rash decisions.

Been there done that.

Hope it works out for him.

I read that something happened on his most recent visit to mizzou that the staff cooled on him as well. Sorry to be so vague but that is all I have heard so far. But god damn do we need some talent on campus.

Reports that Ramirez tried to recommit and Mizzou turned him down.

Supposedly it was confirmed by former MU TE Andrew Jones.

We simply had no room for Ramirez. He was warned if he looked elsewhere his spot was in jeopardy. He went on a visit anyway and the offer was pulled. Focus is on the D-Line. K-State only school who would take him.

I keep hearing this "something happened on his last visit" rumor - would love to know what that was.

But, my opinion is always that we don't need attitude problems. Good luck to the young man.

Not a surprise but Jamone Boyd has also committed to K-State.
