Is there a reason LSU wasn't really interested? I know we have a stable of guys coming it but he is highly rated.

Because we actually had LBs in the state, he was the odd man out. Most years, he would have been the first taken.

Wonder why he switched from Tennessee...I understand why he would be nervous about Dooley, but Arkansas is not known for their defense.

Coaching stability an issue at Tennessee, also, Arkansas is losing 2 LBs and is looking for an immediate impact guy there. Otha Peters should play as a true freshman there, he's physically ready.
I think he is the #1 guy that we did not offer out of LA this year IMO. Coaches simply are going for speed which Otha lacks but he is big and talented.
