Do you expect to see Eddie Lacy go to some post season award presentations?

As a finalist? I know he isn't as good as Richardson, but he seems around Ingram's level, and he'll have a batter offensive line, and McCarron is going to make teams respect the pass too. If Bama has only one loss, and he's got at least 1500 yards and 15 TDs, I think he'll just barely make NYC and maybe, MAYBE, be a finalist for the Doak Walker. He has a lot of other RBs that could easily be there. Lattimore, Ball (though I think he's just a one hit wonder), Knile David to name a few. I like his YPC, but will it be that high when he's a starter in the SEC?

Are remedial classes considered "Post Season".

I don't think so. He's just not on the Ingram/Richardson level IMO.
Also, don't forget, Dee Hart was second string ahead of him before the injury. Hart/Yeldon/Fowler will be getting some carries next season too.

Hart was not 2nd string, stfu. Lacy will be in the mix.

Actually, yes...
Not because I think he's one of the best running backs in the country, but because he'll be on a good team. He might even make it to the Heisman ceremony if Alabama has a great season. They love guys that are on winning teams, whether those guys are more deserving than others or not.

He'll be one of the best RB's in the SEC. He might get some attention.

Um, I mean, he was in the same "administrative group"

I'd still put Eddie Lacy behind Marcus Lattimore, Isaiah Crowell, Knile Davis, and Kenny Hilliard. Mike Dyer would be up there, but he decided to be a complete dumbass and transfer out.
People will laugh at my Kenny Hilliard comment, for now....

He's not going to put up anywhere near the numbers that Richardson and Ingram did in the last two years. There's too many good backs behind him and the QB play should be much better than it was during those years so Bama will be running less and throwing more. I'll be surprised if Lacy averages over 100 rushing yards per game.

Yep. I think we will see more of a "running back by committee" in 2012. But even if Lacy gets the bulk of the carries, I still don't think he gets the production or hype Trent and Mark got.
I hope I'm wrong and he's a finalist in New York in December.

2011 95 674 7.1 67 lg 7tds
2010 56 406 7.3 62 lg 6tds
Lacy has the uncanny ability to break long runs his YPC with 40 more carries this season than last only dropped .2 ypg.
as a starter he will get over 200 carries he's likely to be above 6 ypc and that will definetly put him in the hunt for some post season love.
Knile Davis and Lattimore are both coming off major injury who knows how well they return but it's unlikely they'll be anywhere near as good as their prime.
Lacy will be the best back in the SEC by his own right and by default lol.
That Oline+Spin move is a huge weapon.

Everyone thinks we'll be doing a running back by comittee deal, but I doubt it. Hart will be our 3rd down guy and only get carries in garbage time imo, he's not big enough to take a lot of carries against SEC Defenses. Fowler or Yeldon will be the guy who gives Lacy a break.

I doubt he gets any awards. Lacy as a starter wont get the carries that Trent got this year. I really expect Hart, Fowler, and Yeldon to get a good share of carries.
