What does that have to do with me being able to tell that a skull rape in the National Championship is more impressive than a lucky win in T-Town?
Simple you don't have a damn clue of what you're talking about because you have no basis for comparison......maybe one day.....forgive me if I don't hold my breath.

It was really Bama's only impressive win of the season, and it happened at just the right time for them. That's the way it works sometimes in sports.
hahah, so us shitting on everyone we played wasn't impressive? right

???
All we heard before the game was how this was a LSU home game and that LSU never loses in the Superdome...
Now that LSU lost, it's a neutral field. Y'all will be claiming that since it was reportedly 60/40 LSU fans that it was a Bama home game.

While I would be the last to dog your argument as an LSU fan you can't crawfish on this point.....LSU fans as a whole, from what I saw, said before the game that it was going to be a pro LSU environment (which I actually agree with)....but now we can't crawfish and say it was neutral just because we lost.

Winning at Bama in front of 95,000 fans with all the marbles on the line (i.e. at the time noone ever dreamed that Bama would get another shot) to me is more impressive than winning the game in the superdome when clearly one of the teams was not interested in a rematch.

I think this actually hurt the LSU team by hearing this. Anyone with some sense knew the crowd would be 50/50 which is exactly what it was.
I really think the LSU team bought into the "we don't lose in Nola" crap. Thought they could just show up and win. Then saw the crowd was 50/50, got hit in the mouth really hard and didn't have an answer. Ballgame.

Highlighting the stats of the BCS game certainly helps argue the case for that one being more impressive, if stats are what one is into.
Well, both were wins which is obviously the most important thing.
After that when trying to determine which win was more impressive, you really have to look at the stakes, the scores, and the stats. I think the Alabama win clearly gets the "most impressive" nod in all three of those categories. It doesn't seem like much of a debate really.

An elementary student could have answered this question correctly. You had a great season until the last game. Don't get pissy with me b/c I can tell a beat down when I see one.

hey man, if LSU can't get up for the national championship game...you guys have bigger problems than just losing recruits!!!

I wouldn't go that far. It had already mentioned a few times, by some analysts, as a possibility.

I'd say the stakes were the same in both games. No one expected the loser of Game 1 to get a shot at Game 2. I would also include environment on the list of things to consider. Game 1 was 90% pro bama, Game 2 was 50/50. Bama clearly wins on total points and total stats, but the environment was more favorable for bama and the stakes were the same. Also, being the loser going into a rematch is an advantage you have to consider.

I recall some folks (and very few of them) saying LSU might get a shot if they lose a close one on the road. But no one thought if Bama lost at home that they would get a rematch.

Do you know how many teams had to miss FG's for you to get another shot, not to mention a plane crash the day of OSU's loss. Come on man....you can't say you thought on Nov. 6th that Bama would get a rematch.
The analyst you refer to thought LSU could get a rematch since they were playing on the road. No one really thought that Bama would get the mulligan of all mulligans after losing at home on that stage....be happy and move on.

LSU routs Bama in a 3rd match up.... book it!

Was Bama's second biggest win. Looked more impressive earlier in the season (until LSU beat them more impressively). The fact that most bama fans were still parading around with that Penn State win for much of the season tells you just how soft the schedule really was. The close loss to LSU was being equally displayed as support for Bama even playing in the BCSNC. Interesting how now all of a sudden that same outcome "pales in comparison" to the BCSNC outcome.

At the time of both games, anyone with a brain knew (or thought we knew) the NC was on the line. Don't be retarded.

Already beat you, went 13-0, and won the SEC. You really think a 18 yr old could rationalize emotionally why they had to beat you guys again.
