How do you LSU fans feel about being #1 again ?

Less than 1 week after dropping from the number one spot to number two, everyone has put LSU at number one again. Do you like having the bullseye on you again ? We have been the hunted instead of the hunter for a long time now.

Don't like it, let Bama be the mark, or USC, Oreg, etc..
They have returning experienced QBs, let them have the hype..
Besides, I think LSU's players need to get back to an hungry/underdog mentality again, and be ready for an offseason under Tommy Moffitt in the gym. Think the hype/glory got to them the last three games just a tad.

Agree with this. Going into the offseason with all the nation talking about them being #1, i hope they dont get the bighead and slip up like the last game.

wow, seems to be some anger around here about LSU being picked by some as the preseason #1.
It doesn't mean anything IMO. At least we know we can finish #3 in the SEC and still get a shot at NC

Exactly. Agree with the LSU posters who don't want to be number one... players believing the press and getting everybody's "best shot."
You of course wouldn't want it to happen, but if LSU were to drop an early game, like UW, it could be a blessing in disguise.
Who was the last preseason #1 team to win it all? USC or UF maybe?
