ended on a sour note. LSU was being touted as maybe the best college football team of all time and they get totally embarrassed in the BCSNCG.

I'm hearing fans here say it'll help the players focus and inspire them to do better next year. I have a hard time believing that. If I was a kid playing for LSU I'd be questioning the competence of my coaches. That happened at Alabama with Mike Shula and it 's the reason Alabama went into such a deep decline during his years there.

IMO Miles is going to have to win back his teams trust and confidence - and I don't think Miles is sharp enough to completely do that.

They're going to be better next year. We better get ready.

Did you play in the game? Stop the trash talk and show a little of that Bama class I hear so much about.

I'm guessing you either didn't pay attention to the Shula era, or you are 15. Mike Shula didn't inherit the best of circumstances and his background wasn't the best for coaching in college.

Since we'll actually have a passing attack to go along with our already stacked team I doubt they'll be uninspired. I wouldn't worry about us gump.

Ketchupmoney, I was in Nola for the game and the Bama fans were really great, we had some good natured ribbing and were still cool with each other after what happened. You are a sore winner and a definite stereotype of what Bama fans are usually classified as. This is my 3rd game watching games live with Bama and I've gotta say, I've had the best time around then than any other fan base. Every experience I've had we can have a good time so far. So saying that, see you in tiger stadium next year Bama!!!

LSU is going to be 20 points better on talent alone than any team they play next year besides Alabama and Arkansas. Like this year, it's going to be pretty fricking hard for them to lose a game against anyone not named Alabama or Arkansas.

So there's really nothing to believe. LSU and Alabama are going to play on November 3rd next season, and the winner will likely win the SEC championship and play in the national championship. The players won't need to trust the coaches to want to win that game. Much like Alabama on Monday night, LSU will have the whole revenge factor on their minds.

Don't worry about LSU.

Should be a 1000 post minimum to start a thread.

Post less.

I am hoping that this loss will be the catalyst for next season.

Much like the Alabama loss to Auburn last season when they gave up a 24 point lead.
