The real reason the SEC wins all those bowl games.
Nice article by Ivan Maisel. Irony that the first photo is of Marky Mark this soon after he shite the bed against the Big10.
THIS is telling:

THIS is telling:

In the past five NFL drafts -- since the beginning of the BCS championship streak -- 28 defensive tackles have been selected out of the SEC. The Atlantic Coast Conference is second with 14. If you limit it to the first three rounds, the SEC leads with 15 and the Pac-12 is second with eight.

Even more ironic is that defensive line play of Mich St is the reason they won the game against UGA...

I'd just like to take this time to thank Oregon, Stanford, and Ok St., with out you guys losing to lesser opponents, none of this would be possible.... so THANK YOU and Roll Tide.

I didn't read the article, so forgive me if he touches on this, but where it really shows when watching other conferences play, is late in games at the other defensive positions.
When your conference has at least twice as many quality D-linemen as its opponents, you can rotate, and still remain effective for a longer period of time. When these other conferences get late in games, the LB's and safeties are worn out from defending the run, yet still have to account for second run support, with pass defense responsibilities included.
Last night was a great example if you watched Michigan. The line on the Alabama-Michigan matchup needs to be 20 or higher. If it comes in any less than that, it's going to get hammered.

Thanks to the apparent neglect from other conferences of Mike Slive's playoff idea after an undefeated Auburn team was left out of the championship game in the early 00s, we have two SEC teams playing for the championship. Those in power don't want to lose power. Sorry for the past half decade. You have no one to blame but your respective conference commissioners.

I just don't see a need for these articles anymore; everyone gets it. No one is currently denying it. This still doesn't mean that Bama has a right to the #2 ranking.
"The highest-rated game, LSU-Alabama I, drew the biggest rating for a regular-season game in 22 years."
And the LSU/Bama game had a smaller viewership thatn OSU/Mich in 2006, so that is just a false fact while we're at it.
Fine read, but it's the same article 1000 times

Sorry Pauldean but this is the SEC Rant.
It's O.K. to tell an Ohio State fan it's the SEC Rant but too many "rantards" are telling other SEC fans it's "an LSU board."
There is actually an address other SEC teams can go to that doesn't have Tigerdroppings in it: https://www.secrant.com/
This board, the SEC Recruiting Board and the SEC Ticket board are for ALL SEC fans, not just LSU fans.
