It was during an interview when we went to the Music City bowl after a failure of a season. I don't remember the follow up question but the answer was along the lines of:
"Obviously you start the season wanting to play in a great bowl, Cotton..., Cotton..., but this is a great, great bowl, this is why I like bowl games."

I don't think I've ever seen a coach strive to be JUST average like Nutt did. Every coach wants to be the best and talks about wanting to be the best. I don't recall Nutt ever saying that.
