This is for all of you that follow/watch ESPN and rely on them for your news feeds.
Apparently there are at least 3 ignorant threads based on an even more ignorant news article that Jefferson feels no remorse over a bar fight incident.
Here is what happened from someone who followed events closely/watched LOCAL news, and when half of you were fully wrapped in the season and did not know what was going on:
Jefferson was guilty of breaking a team curfew. Frick tradition, what everyone else before him had done. The punishment for that was to run laps.
Jefferson was NOT GUILTY of kicking anyone. Video showed him, while in the club, wearing a white shirt. Video showed the 'kicker' wearing a black shirt. Jefferson had all his shoes confiscated and was exonerated. BPS dropped the case because they had the wrong person.
Jefferson missed 5 games because he and his team mates refused to give the name of the player who kicked. If anything he is guilty of that.
Stop putting stock in 'articles' with an agenda, and don't have the facts

I'll wait until I hear the verdict.

It's not the news articles so much as the pending charges. We'll see if he's eventually NOT GUILTY.
Beside the point though, really have to question the discipline of the young man for even being in that position. That kind of thing starts at the top...

JJ doesn't care about LSU

You made up most of that, fwiw.
The facts are thus:
-Jefferson probably kicked the dude (Andrew Lowery).
-Dude had a history of being a crazy stalker.
-Dude was a huge douche who likes to start fights. Evidenced by several people who went to school with him.
-Dude attacked JJ in the bar for swaggin' on the girl he was stalking. It is what caused them to be in the parking lot.
-Dude got what he deserved, regardless of who did the kicking.

I thought those were dropped, thus he was admitted back on the team?

JJ missed half a season for a misdeamenor that will never be adjudicated.
Add the fact that the guy he fought is a bonafide pos seen on tape menancing his gf, who had earlier attacked TWO people, and who a week later was struck by a car while walking drunkenly down a road at 5 am and....
JJ as a "thug" meets the narrative for various LSU-haters, sanctimonious moralists, ignorant finger-wagger-types, closet racists etc.

The felony charges were reduced to misdimeanor charges. They were not dropped. Questionable decision making by the young man. He racks a disciprine.
