Shaun Alexander & Peyton Manning for me... had a PM poster on my wall & actually rooted for the Vols while he was there (when they weren't playing Bama).
Also, not sure why & a little more recent but I really liked Jacob Hester when he was at LSU... dude was badass.

I still can't believe manning got screwed over in the heisman but even to this day I stil enjoy watching him play....well not this year. Smoot and JJ Johnson were fun to watch from state. Shaun Alexander and Freddie Millons are some old school bama players I liked

Dalton Hilliard, Bo Jackson, and Herschel Walker were big when I was a kid. Not SEC but I thought Brian Bozworth was the shite back then too
