It really was a great win. I predict they will still have a lot of ups and downs this year playing so many freshmen but if they can get an NIT bid at least they will be trending upwards.

Where does that leave Ole Miss if "Marquette ran them out of the gym by 30" as the Ole Miss guy alluded too and we beat Marquette by 8?

I'm just hoping we don't get swept by State, Ole Miss, and Alabama. I'm hoping for a .500 record against those teams and Arkansas. I'm not worried about Auburn right now. They are a complete pretender.

That they are,I'll give you this,you were spot on as far as Bama not being able to shoot the three.. 
Oh well seasons still young Bama's worse than I thought we would be at thus point and LSU is far better that I thought,that was a big time win over a top 10 opponent last night...

So glad we pulled Ralston Turner out of Alabama. I know he wasn't a huge recruit and maybe Grant wasn't on him too hard but he's a solid player. Here's to some good battles between Trent and Anthony in the future

Pretty sure all tiger fans are in complete shock at this game. We beat Marquette pretty decently. We had 18 TOs and missed a shitload of free throws. It's finally time to get excited about bball again. Looking forward to SEC play.

I like how well our defense is playing but at the same time Marquette went uncharacteristly ice cold in the first half. I mean they went like 8 minutes without a field goal.
