In today's Hattiesburg American.
"It has always been a dream of mine to play at LSU, and I really like the offense that Nebraska runs."
"I like South Carolina, because I've talked to Chad Holbrook, and they've won the last two national championships," Alford said. "And I still like Southern Miss, because I really like Coach Scott Berry."
No mention of State by Alford.
Don't jump, Bundy.
Sorry for no link. I'm on my phone.

I wouldn't want him at QB... Great athlete, mediocre QB...

U think he would be worse than JJ?

Gotta think a few years under Coach Krags would do him so good

Hard to tell. I think he'd be a better runner, but passing is hard to measure. He looked horrible in the Mississippi/Alabama all star game.

He scheduled to visit LSU this weekend

Hard to jude from that game due to the fact he was running for his life every snap due to his offensive line not being able to block Alabama's DL and LBs

Would love to have Alford, but like Winston I doubt he makes it to college.

Tell him whatever to get him on campus. I think he could possibly be a hell of a DB or WR. He's worth a football scholly because of his athleticism but also to have on your baseball team.

He is a NFL Strong Safety if anything.
However I think he can play QB in college.

He should go to Nebraska. I would like to see him in Tim Beck's offense.

I bet he's scared of Cohen

He will never play a down of college football, will be a high draft pick in MLB draft.

Which is a definite possibility but that does not bother me like it does other people because what happened with the Zach Lee situation. I put that on the coaches more than Zach, they should have had a better backup plan in case no matter what the kid told them knowing that over a million dollars might have been thrown his way.
Now for AA, I really hope he is apart of LSU's class, by far one of the top 5 athletes in the nation and you do not pass up on players like that. If we land him and Collins that would be awesome just based off of their athletic ability alone.
