2 coaches left for head jobs, the DC mutually 'resigned'.. His contract was up time to replace him since our defense didn't improve.

I think He wouldn't be a bad hire at all. I'll take head coaches taking Assistant jobs all day. Lots of experience in one board room.

Will the DC leaving should make a lot of Arkansas fans happy. I saw a lot of bitching about this guy, maybe now you guys will hire a bad arse DC.

You guys will definitely be scary with a defense, now y'all have to get into Texas and recruit. East Texas is full of great athletes, you have Lufkin High, Tyler Lee, Longview, Marshall High. Most of these northern East Texas kids end up in Oklahoma.

We know, all those kids came to Arkansas during the 70's and 80's where 10 win seasons was normal.
Now with TAMU in the SEC it helps Arkansas with recruiting putting our name to the kids who don't even know a SWC existed. Oklahoma State has benefited greatly from Arkansas leaving the area and Boone's money.
Arkansas' name splattering around Dallas and Houston, our 2 largest alumni bases outside of the state, just like LSU... helps us back in Texas again.
Good things ahead for the Hogs if we take advantage of all that has happened. Arkansas and LSU are basically now completely surrounded by SEC football states.
