When did Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit become the final word on things? They just said definitively, and as if it was written in stone, that LSU will be playing Bama, in the BCSNCCG?

Hell, I am an LSU fan, but even we don't deserve to have our card punched like that?

I should stop watching Gameday, early morning indigestion

I honestly can't believe they are that comfortable saying Alabama is in already. Either they are gonna look stupid on national TV or I have some LSU fans to flame for making me so nervous

I didn't like the finality of how they said it either because nothing is "for sure" but this is probably how the BCSNCCG is going to shake out. Unless OSU lays the absolute smack-down of a lifetime it's going to be difficult for them to jump; but again, nothing is absolute.

Agree. I don't care who we play, but ridiculous to insinuate they are already in. Yeah, they probably are, but just weakens there credibility as commentators IMO

What I see is that the gameday crew actually wants an all SEC matchup so they can help bring the BCS down, or they are trying to play reverse psychology and piss off voters as if they don't have a choice.

Or option 3. They honestly believe there is no way Alabama can get jumped by OSU or VT. Nope. That couldn't be it. It's obviously a conspiracy.

I highly doubt they believe that. They are definitely agenda driven. Especially Herbstreit. He's a slimeball.

I really do think all the "Bama is in" talk will rub voters wrong. But I don't think these guys are trying to get one team in over another? Unless for ratings maybe? But again that goes against what all the LSU fans have said. Almost every single thing said on ESPN is the exact opposite of what LSU fans have said. Something's got to give! I'm genuinely excited to see how this weekend shakes out. Good luck today LSU fans.

Bama is in- according to a BCS "expert"- Bama would have to fall to 4th in all the polls for someone to jump them in the BCS Standings- and thats not going to happen

It's set- LSU vs Bama

people can quit griping and bitching- it's done

This is exactly my point. LSU fans say nobody around the country wants to see a rematch so the media will be against it.

It kinda surprises me but I think they are trying to play up a known commodity. If they can hype it to where they keep most of the viewers from the first game if not add some then they win. Whereas they dont know if OSU vs LSU will sell with the public. Its just like a movie studio making a crappy sequel.

Maybe they think that the only team that can give LSU a game is bama. That osu will be out of the game before the end of the 1 qt.And the sound you hear is TVs turning to reruns of Sandford and Son.

I think OSU being in opens up a part of the country without any effort. You'd have the South, Mid West, and college football lovers. But LSU vs Alabama might be a matchup people hate, but can't help but watch.
