UGA fans: Questions about your Rb's.

I admittedly have not followed your team since the pitiful loss to Boise State. So I have a few questions about your RB situation. Looks like a clusterfrick if Crowell gets banged up. Which is likely since he has yet to finish a game this year.
1. Will Crowell be ready?
2. What is the likelihood we see Boykin or Smith at RB some?
3. How the hell are you down to your 4th and 5th string backs?

Crowell is 100%...so they said today.
His stamina is not very good though and , at best, I see him getting 20 carries.
Richard Samuel, our 2nd best RB, is out and has been since the last play of the UF game. He is very strong but runs like a Cadillac with no powere steering.
Our next guy in will be 170 lb, Carlton Thomas. A guy that Bobo (our OC) likes to pretend is 230lbs by running him in the middle way to often. He is shifty and fast in open space but don't look for him to get any yards against LSU in the middle.
Next up is a tie between true freshman Malcombe and walk-on Harton. Malcombe only got significant PT this past week against GT. He is about 225 lbs and has a little power. Harton is another 170lber.

You will probablly see Boykin and Smith a few times each but don't expect either to carry more than once each. Maybe in as decoys as much as anything.

Ken Malcolme is a RS freshman BTW.

1. Crowell will be ready
2. Boykin or smith will get a carry or two just for trickery
3. we are not down to 4th or 5th ranked rb's. Carlton thomas got suspended vs. kentucky for having sex with a girl when the team was at lake lanier. Crowell had an ankle injury on first play vs. ky. Both are injury and suspension free and will play.
Thomas and Crowell both gained over 300 yards rushing vs. auburn.

i kept seeing crowell on the sidelines the last 2 games looking very disinterested...i seen the kid play in high school at carver, and some this season, he is talented but lacks heart and effort. Thomas and harton may lack what crowell has talent wise but i have watched these guys give all they have the past couple weeks

To number 3, it's actually worse than it looks. Caleb King and Washaun Ealey departed from the team in the offseason. So you could say we're down to our 6th and 7th stringers...but those guys aren't seeing action this weekend.
But it will be all Crowell Saturday. He's got to man up. I really thought Samuel would play, but Chip Towers reported earlier in the week that he was still on crutches and told him straight up "probably not." Doubt Bobo trusts Thomas or anyone below him enough to tote it much here.
I do expect to see Smith and Boykin get some carries

i believe that. it sucks samuel went down, i said at the beginning of the year when they moved him back to rb that he would get 1000. he had a great game vs florida

it sucks for the guy, he had struggled all year and when he finally started hitting his groove he goes down

Samuel was always big but he bulked up more once he moved to backer, atleast thats what it appear to me. the kid played hard and i figured with the nations biggest oline and a 270lb fb/te with him being 240 himself i figure they would ground and pound his way to a 1000 yard season

So?
We're not Auburn, and used our 4th string back in that game.
