I have been to every stadium in the SEC multiple times throughout my life. Your fans are always great to hang out with, whether in Athens or Baton Rouge. Mark Richt is a class act and seems like a great guy in interviews, just a very pleasant person and runs a strong program. Here's to a great game on Saturday!

this doesn't change the fact that I hope we impale that tiger arse on a pole in the middle of Centennial Park for the whole world to see, but everything about the town and the fans I feel toward LSU. Win or lose, I won't walk away from the Dome disappointed. No shame in losing to my #2 team

Georgia is a GREAT trip !
Great stadium, cool unis, beautiful girls, good part of the country, generally cordial fans, a solid human at the helm, great tradition.
Big Ups and let's play for a ring !

i'll second that. i had much more trouble with the older crazy dawg fans than the students and younger bunch. all around, athens kicks major arse and the fans are passionate yet nice. i hope our fans are recognized the same way

Thanks, most of Dawg fans on here would say LSU is our second favorite SEC team. Always impressed by the passion of LSU's fanbase (and the Golden Girls).
Can't wait to head to the Dome on Saturday and as DGD said won't be hanging my head either way.

Same here and having lived in the ATL for 17 years I can tell you that the state of Georgia, it's people, it's schools and it's fans are good folks. I've raised two daughters in this state and am proud to say I honestly love it here. It ain't home, but it's pretty damn good.
Looking forward to a Tiger victory on Saturday. Times like now make it extra special to be a Tiger fan!!

You must have a fetish revolving around folks barking in your face.
ETA: I never have issues with Dawg fans but I'm not an idiot and don't act like one.

I have to agree, I've had more fun in Athens than any other road game. Fans are always a class act. Piss balloons at an absolute minimum.

I will say this I will never miss a trip to Athens......For my money it is the most fun city in the SEC. General Beauregard's is a damn fine place for a man like me.....it also helps that I got some strange from there in '04 and '09.
However this not withstanding UGA will get stomped in Atlanta.

Just wanted to bump this and say that Coach Richt held true to form in his post-game interview, very classy guy. The score may have not shown it, but you guys kicked our asses for the first half, just couldn't quite get it done. Good luck in yalls bowl game!
