Alabama dominated LSU Nov. 5th...

I've heard a few people claim that Alabama dominated LSU on Nov. 5th and that Alabama crushed LSU statistically. I've also heard the somewhat softer-toned "Alabama outplayed LSU and was/is the better team." Where do people come up with this stuff?
BoxScore
LSU penetrated Alabama's red zone three times in the game. Alabama penetrated LSU's red zone a grand total of ONE time. Alabama's deepest penetration against LSU was the 17 yard line...In other words, Alabama did not get any closer than 17 yards to scoring a TD on LSU....THE WHOLE GAME! LSU ran 13 plays in Alabama's red zone. Alabama ran a grand TOTAL of 4 plays in LSU's red zone. LSU reached Alabama's 2 yard line in one drive, Alabama's 13 yard line in another drive, and Alabama's 8 yard line in yet another drive. Again, Alabama only had ONE drive that entered LSU's red zone, and the drive didn't get past the 17. Alabama couldn't even get into the red zone when GIVEN the ball at the 25 in overtime.
So what about Alabama winning the "stat battle" ? Nevermind that Alabama didn't even win the four most important stats in football: rushing yards, turnovers, penalty yards, and scoreboard. LSU rushed for 148 yards, and Alabama and its Heisman trophy contender only rushed for 96 yards on their home turf. Alabama was penalized for more yardage than LSU (73-56), and turned the ball over twice (which equaled LSU's 2 turnovers, and that doesn't even include Alabama's blocked FG). So in regards to the "stats battle," Alabama didn't even win the three most important categories in football: rushing yards, turnovers, and penalties.
Furthermore, Alabama's missed FGs were from 44, 50, 49, 52. I'll be nice and throw out the 44, but is it any surprise Bama missed the other 3? Those weren't exactly chip shots. Very few college kickers outside of Baton Rouge can hit consistently at 49+.
I know, I know...CSB,... Just thought I'd throw this out there since there appears to be at least a few people out there that seem to have - for whatever reason - conveniently "blocked out" the actual facts of Nov 5th.

I wonder why Alabama fans quit posting all the STATS after Nov. 5th.

We don't need links for things to be true.

Heard it yet again on XM radio earlier today...some guy called into Jack/Mike.
Don't lie...you all know damn well you've heard it from somewhere. Not saying you all believe that or think that, but there are certainly people that have said this stuff and actually believe it when they're saying it.

Jack/Mike's an idiot. Anyone who says either team dominated is an idiot.
EDIT:
I've heard Bama fans (and media members) say we outplayed LSU. I've heard no one say we dominated LSU. I have, however, heard LSU fans say they dominated, which is laughable.

While you like to look at the box score jump over to the drive chart you may see some interesting numbers. This by no means states that Bama dominated it dose lead one to believe that Bama did move the ball well but stalled when they got close to the red zone.
