He's a good back. Hope he wins the Heisman. Be just that much sweeter when LSU beats Bama for the 2nd time around.

I keep hearing this ridiculous blown coverage bullshite. Those were screens and dump passes. We run them 10 times a game. It's part of our offense. They weren't blown coverages, they were plays designed to run that way.

Stupid quote...with enough carries..anyone could get 100 yards. Trent was almost all of Bamas offense against LSU, because he is their only weapon.

Actually they were misreads or blown assignments by hatcher. He's getting better coming off the bench instead of starting.

That's dumb. So I guess Ford is LSU's only weapon?

He had right at 100 yds in the game, but on his last 2 carries he lost about 11-12 yds. He was getting tired of playing with those boys it seems.

yeah, or he was getting hit by multiple guys right when he was getting the ball. Great point, genius.

RG3 should be the real winner. He isn't the best at anything but without him baylor doesn't go bowling.

Our bad, we thought this trophy was supposed to go to the BEST college player.

So when teams blow that coverage 3-5 times every game the offensive scheme couldn't possibly have anything to do with that huh?

I'm not mad, just pointing out your ignorance. Can't deal with it, huh?

Reid "blew him up" after a 20+ yard gain.

TR was in a full sprint and Reid was almost stationary. How many times do you think Trent got stopped right in his tracks like that? Bottom line is that night, there were nothing but beasts on the field.

FROM the point where there were 2 minute left in the half Trent rushed for 31 yards the rest of the game. He was shut down late in the second quarter.

Again I am talking about games were he had 150+ yards (5). Most of his yards were in the fourth quarter when the game was well in hand. The most outstanding player in collegiate football is usually the guy who when his team is in a close game, carries that team to victory. When the game was on the line with LSU, TRs last two runs netted -11 yards.

I think Trent should win the heisman. He has had a great season. No he will not have a bigger game in New Orleans. Trent only had 35 rushing yards in 2nd half and OT against LSU @ home. If he's the best back in CFB id say we have the best D.

It's gonna be a different story in the
superdome Jan. 9th. AJ won't be able to quiet the crowd like he did at Bryant-Denny.
It's gonna be awesome!

Flame away!

So glad I'm not a gump.

That settles it. RG3 should win unanimously.

It's a really down year for running backs if TR is getting this much Heisman talk.

I'm not sure if I would vote for TR, RG3, or Luck for heisman if I have a vote. All three of them are deserving, and no one is having a Cam Newtonesque season.
TR is a monster though, and from what I've heard a good person, so I'm fine with him winning it.

Still think Suh should have won it over Ingram though.

84 yards on 23 carries
