Mark Barron is already a two-time All-SEC and All-American. He would make it on reputation alone. But he's also had a very good season. There just weren't as many attempts for INTs this season with the amount of three and outs Alabama produced. Regardless, he's a first or second rounder in April.

They're ranked at the top in tackles because they are on the field almost the entire game

I think Tramain leads all safeties in tackles and he is second in the league in interceptions.

88 tackles, 5 int's and 1 FF.

I imagine he will at least my All-SEC Second Team on the final list.

Lol at this cat putting Malik Jackson and Prentiss Wagner on there.

Have you even seen Malik Jackson play? He gave both Alabama and LSU fits. It's not always about statistics. A guy that demands double teams is going to get respect from the media and coaches with these lists.

I'm not saying Rambo should be above Barron, just posted stats in comparison. Certainly should be over Waggner. I think Reid, taylor, etc. all just played more run support than Rambo. Difference in scheme and all that. But Rambo definitely deserves at least 2nd team. 7 INT's is pretty extraordinary

Not really flaming. Just pointing out the stupidity of an all sec list where you don't watch much sec football. I mean Malik fricking Jackson?

I asked about a player, he saw the stat differential and made adjustments accordingly. A little decorum goes a long way around here.

Also frick you.

Go look at their tackles for loss, INT's, and sacks for the year.

The list would be a joke if Tervathen is left off the first team and Guy 2cd team.

The 3-4 system will do that for the safeties. Alabama saw that with Johnson in 2008, Barron in 2009, and Lester in 2010. It forces QBs to throw into the middle of the field. It's a nice by-product of running a 3-4.

I watch a ton of SEC football but I don't watch the shitty Mississippi schools because they're completely irrelevant. Malik Jackson gave the 2 best teams in the country fits and constantly demands double teams.
