Crazy scenario that would provide clarity

OSU loses to OU.
Va Tech loses to Va.
Stanford loses to ND.

If all of those happen then Bama is only one loss team (legit team anyway, not counting Boise). Who cares about "not a conference champion" argument if Bama is only one loss team? No one, which make it ridiculous now and it's one of the reasons (in addition to Bama being best one loss team) that a rematch happens.

If Oregon beats Oregon State they win their division over Stanford.

Right. Yet somehow you didnt have enough to win in regulation. An "overrated" team held you to lowest point total all year, took you to OT, and you survived that game due to your superior special teams. The only thing that game proved is that LSU has much better kicker/punter than Bama. All other factors - our O vs your D, your O vs our D - were a stalemate.

Try that revisionist history someplace else.

And this over rated team did not lose in regulation to LSU it had to go into overtime and then by only 3!

I see your point!

Why does Bama want to lose to LSU again so badly?

Lsu played its worse game against Ala. A second game will be a beat down. Fords step out on td run ended in 3 instead of 7. td catch and fall down backwards on three also should have been7 not 3. turnovers penalties etc. hope we get to play again

Stanford and Va Tech are irrelevant anyways.

Alabama actually wants both of those teams to win. If they lose, that just gives Oklahoma State more room to move up in the human polls.

And Okie State is the only team with a legitimate shot at jumping Alabama in the BCS assuming all teams involved win out.

Everything you claim about LSU's game could be applied to Bama's. The teams are evenly matched and with the bounce of the ball either could pull out a win! This is the reason a rematch would be the true BCSNC not an Oky St vs LSU game that would be like the Arky game. Neither Oky St nor Arky have a defense so the outcome would be predetermined. This is the true reason most posters for LSU want to have the BCS game against anyone but the Tide.

Except for the fact that the game was played in your house. It's confusing to see the "best team in college football" begging for a Mulligan.

For someone who's said there is zero chance of Bama getting jumped, even with an Okie win next week, you sure are starting a lot of threads on the subject. You seem a bit concerned, no?

The true reason is that if you weren't good enough to beat us at home, you simply aren't worthy.
