Really it sucks for which ever SEC team that gets left out. Should be an SEC rule allowing us to get in our best teams.

as long as we beat LSU I'll be happy. we've already accomplished more than I thought we would at the beginning of the season. Petrino owns Miles.. so I'm not worried.

I agree. I think there will be a groundswell to change the bcs rule limiting the number of bcs participants by conference. Especially given the weakness of the big east and acc.

Don't kid yourself. I for one would rather have the boot displayed right in our front window. It's bigger and heavier than some ole dinky crystal ball, so naturally its the better trophy to win.

No chance. If LSU-Bama is 1-2 in BCS and Arky ends up 3, the SEC representative to the sugar bowl would be Arky, assuming LSU beats Georgia in the SECCG, otherwise the SEC rep would be Georgia and Arky goes to non-bcs bowl.
Only way a conference can have three teams in BCS games is if they have two teams ranked 1-2 in the final BCS poll and another team wins the conference championship and autobid.
