Brad Edwards: I'm having difficulty coming up with a scenario by which Arkansas could win the 3-way tie. I think the Hogs' best chance to win the West is for Auburn to beat Alabama. The problem is that LSU is so much stronger than Arkansas in the computers (even with one loss), that if LSU falls to 3 in the polls and Arkansas moves up to 2, LSU would still finish ahead in the BCS because of those computers.

damn bcs. I hate the ambiguity this system causes. LSU just needs to take care of business.

Arky fans don't care if they get to go to the SECCG or not. they just want to beat LSU.

But the whole sec rant was full of arkansas fans last night not understanding that they likely have no chance of the SECCG.
Now i agree im sure if they beat LSU they couldnt care less because they would likely be in the NC game. But it doesnt take away from how blind they were last night.

Really? How many Hog Fans have you talked to make this determination or are you just pulling a stupid statement out your arse?
Beating LSU will help us reach our goals in winning the SEC and getting to a BCS/National Championship Game. Nothing more and nothing less.

The BcS system is flawed. That's the only logical response to this. If we don't get to Atlanta due to losing the tie-breakers, the only rational response is that we should have taken care of business at Alabama. A win at LSU probably gets us into some kind of BCS bowl, and could conceivably get us into the NCG if certain things fall correctly.

I agree that can happen but i would much prefer that LSU just Win out 14 - 0 SEC & BCS National champs....

I've been telling everyone that would listen this for weeks....
LSU is NOT falling out of the Top2, even with a loss to Arkansas. It's actually nearly impossible given the computers.

I am an Arkansas fan and I say beat LSU and get BCS #2 don't care after that. Well I would prefer OU win next week also but just beat LSU and we're in the BCS CG
