do we split the national title with Bama IF Bama wins the rematch? I don't see why we wouldn't...

Nope, the Crystal Ball will be ours. Did UF split the title with FSU when they beat them in a rematch??

If it was a close loss it's most likely a split title

Alabama will be lucky to get out of New Orleans with a win. Especially since we've seen that their special teams mishaps weren't a fluke.

UF lost in Tally, and then they won on a neutral field. Far different set of circumstances. Our win in Tuscaloosa would be more impressive than your win over us on a neutral field.

ETA: I wouldn't be against a rematch if Bama had lost under exactly the same set of circumstances in Baton Rouge.

Does not matter. Crystal ball is ours if we win.

Your a fricking moron if you think that Bama is going to come into Louisiana and "kick arse" against this LSU team. And stop losing faith in our players, we have a pussy fan base sometimes. I'll follow this team into a game against the Packers and argue for every second as to why we would win. Believe and your'e players and coaches you panzees.

Are you mentally challenged? Do you not understand the concept of a "split" title. There's the crystal ball, and then there's the AP National Championship. The question is should Bama win both national title's if they beat us in a rematch.

You wouldn't be SEC Champions. You lost at home to LSU. Then, you beat LSU on a neutral field.

Both teams would have one loss to each other. LSU would be SEC Champions. LSU would have been forced to play one more game than Bama.

It's a fair question.

So which is it? All I hear LSU fans say is that a game in NOLA is a home game for LSU.

Oh. I don't care about a split, so long as we get that shiny ball.

I don't think Alabama gets to the NC, and if they do, we slaughter them this time.

Nobody ever thought they were a fluke.

I don't even get why people blame the kickers. Foster sucks but he should have made the 44 yarder. But beyond that they should have never tried the field goals. Try to pin LSU back. We were always in stressful situations field position wise because of Wing, while LSU wasn't (because we refused to punt instead of trying hopeless long field goals) and we still moved the ball better overall.

The special teams won't get better. Hopefully Saban's decision making will.
