lol

I didn't know moving backwards in OT, then allowing the opposing team to move forward and score constituted outperforming.

12 seconds more.

This is the delusion that I am talking about. The difference in these stats are meaningless. When you factor in LSU's Special Teams (part of the game of football), LSU ends up with the better team and better overall performance.

I just didn't anticipate LSU not getting any credit after that game.

Lesson learned.

Fer crying out loud. Tell me what kind of credit do you think LSU missed out on. That shite doesn't matter. Years from now the books will show 9-6. That's the only thing that matters.

It was a close call. Refs got it right, but, as mentioned before, there would be a contingent of every fan base arguing that call.

Even after watching the replay in slow mo, and seeing the pic of the Bama player off the ground about a foot with the ball in Reid's hands? Really?

The best team lost, they say.

Happens all the time.

They moved the ball far more efficiently. They got into scoring position more. Their kickers are awful. That is the only reason they lost. With just about any other SEC kicker, they would have had it won in regulation.

The way you LSU fans are griping and moaning, you'd think it was the Tigers that lost.

LSU was outperformed in every major statistical category on offense and defense. Twist it any way you want.

Bama's offense put up better numbers than LSU's offense, and Bama's defense put up better numbers than LSU's defense.

LSU's special teams kick our arse, which resulted in a loss.

Great game. LSU was better where it counted. Saban was outcoached.

Bama outperformed LSU in two of the three phases. It was marginal, but it happened. It doesn't matter how you twist it.

Very good! That's a baby step in the right direction for Emotional Development 101.

Let's try step 2.

Bama only punted TWICE

would have been SMARTER to have punted at least 3 more times. There is no bragging rights to attempting field goals beyond your kickers ability to make....in order to "only punt twice"

But you do know the only statistic that matters is 9-6, right?

All 3 missed field goals in regulation were within our kickers' ranges.

Here's my twist.

Alabama reeled off 17 plays inside LSU's 30 yard line to the tune of negative-12 yards.

That's dominance, and it forced you to attempt FGs outside your kickers' ranges.

Sounds like how LSU fans act after every loss. Please forgive us.
