The word you are looking for is MOOT. Careful calling others a moron when you are a moron yourself.

Bama should have never tried that 3rd long fg, they should have stuck to feeding Richardson up the middle, and those incredibly dumb cutesy plays by the bama o were insane. Saban didn't trust his punting game or his defense in the end.

He is a good coach obviously but chokes in big games far too often. He's great when the coach on the other side is a choker too however (stoops brown etc).

There's an old philosophy in football....that if you need a big pass play, you want the ball in the hands of your best PASSER. Blame Maze if you want but the decision to run the trick play and put a hobbling punt returner on the field are one Little Nicky.
