come on now you are asking this about a fanbase that poisons another teams tradition.

But don't we get an extra hour since DLS changes at 2 AM? Drops it back to 1AM and you have another hour to party.

The never-ending "your fans suck more than our fans" thread posted for the 10,000th time.

Yes most will if we lose but all fan bases have a bad element and you may run across one of them. If you wish to act poorly then wait until your back in LA if you can be respectful to others then you will be fine.

PS don't take any Barner's advice as respect is something they know little about!

Yeah, I hear instead of Son of a Preacher Man they're going to play a few Checch and Chong originals.

Those Alabama people are jerks.

Y'all just be careful and play nice no matter how the game goes, and all will be fine....A jail cell is no place to spend the night- regardless of what jersey you'll be wearing....

Look, I love LSU and LSU fans, but y'all dish it out more than any fanbase outside of Florida.

The first time I went to Baton Rouge I was shocked and how much junk y'all talked, but it was all in good fun.

In 2007, when y'all "snuck out a victory" LSU fans where in the street on the strip "rejoicing like they just won the national title and rubbing it in our face as much as possible".

See how this works?

If you can't stand the heat, stay out of Tuscaloosa.

I was there during the OT game in 05 and the Bama fans were gracious and nice.

The Alabama fans in my section were super nice after we beat them in the IB last year. There really is a huge difference between the ones who wear Wal-Mart bama gear and the ones who love the university and the football team.

But I would imagine after the game with mostly everyone drunk, there could be a lack of respect.
Bama fans aren't accustomed to night games. The long day of drinking will take its toll and their buzz will have worn off LONG before the game ends.

They're not as experienced as LSU fans in maintaining drunkenness effectively throughout the day. Ergo, I don't think there will be many overly drunk bama fans after the game (until they drown their sorrows afterwards).

Drunk + Pissed Off = VERY BAD.

Pissed off = Bad.

I'm planning on keeping my distance after the game just to be safe

This.

After we get beat, I usually go out of my way to tell somebody congrats. It was tough after the IB last year, but there was one guy that was really gracious.

The get-in price will probably run off a good bit of the Updykes.

PS Stay clear of the frat boys.

You mean leaving the game with 10 minutes left in the 3rd quarter?

That's one of the reasons we're not leaving Birmingham until around Noon. My old man just can't hang anymore. He gets drunk quick, forgets to eat unless I go buy some food and hand it to him, or order him something at whatever bar we're in. Then gets winded climbing the ramp to the upper deck. I gotta make him keep a steady pace.
