I expect this game to be much like the iron bowl atmosphere of last year. With that said,
Don't expect southern hospitality.

Of course in 2009 Alabama snuck out a victory. I remember walking back to my car and seeing all the Bama fans rejoice like they just won the national title

They didn't win the national championship, but they did avoid losing it that night. They should have been rejoicing.

Wasn't it the 2007 game where thousands of Tiger fans descended upon Tuscalooser and supposedly surrounded the stadium and frightened the poor Gumps?

Yes.

They have grown accustomed to LSU beating them in Bryant-Denny Stadium.

I'll be respectful to any LSU fans I run across. Y'all were a good bunch a few years back when we were in Baton Rouge for the Troy game. But I would imagine after the game with mostly everyone drunk, there could be a lack of respect.

The bars in ttown will close at 2 am whereas b'ham has bars that stay open until the sun comes up. Party all night!

Took two hours just to get out of Tuscaloosa after the Iron Bowl this year. It turned a damn hour and a half drive into a 5-6 hour adventure including multiple stops on the side of the road for the more inebriated among us to take care of business.
