Why do LSU fans think 2010 Alabama >>>2011 Alabama??

I`ve read several comments from LSU fans suggesting they`ll cruise to victory because a weaker 2010 LSU team beat an Alabama team that was much better last year than this year. What is this being based on?

Whenever thinks either team will steamroll one another is an idiot.
And yeah, I think last years team is better talent wise but underachieved. Have to say Bamas trail has been pretty easy so far. This team is good, but still think last years was better.

A more experienced quarterback, a better offensive line, a better defensive line, a legitimate threat at receiver, Mark Ingram along with Trent Richardson
I will admit that your offensive line and the quarterback position are both better than I expected.
I also believe your defensive line is worse than I thought it would be. It's not bad. It's just not really good.
Overall, I think last year's team was a slightly better team. It's just difficult to repeat as national champions. Also, last year the SEC was about 5 times more difficult than it is this year.

I don't necessarily think y'all are significantly worse than last year, but we are significantly better than we were last year. We beat y'all last with a one dimensional team, and this year we are multi dimensional.
