The Third Saturday in October is:

Crimson and Orange
The General and the Bear
The Million Dollar Band and the Pride of the Southland
Mutual hate and mutual respect
Bear Bryant being carried by his players after his first win in the series in 1961
Johnny Majors being carried by his players after Bryant's last game in the series in 1982
Casey Clausen finding CJ Fayton on 4th and 19 in 2003
Roman Harper knocking the ball out of Corey Anderson's hands in 2005
Manning leading the band in Rocky Top at Legion Field in 1997
30,000 Bama fans doing the Rammer Jammer chant at Neyland Stadium in 2008
The SEC's two most successful programs of all time
My favorite game of the year

See you in 4 days, Bama fans.

I was there for that, and still hate Peyton Manning to this day and pull against the Colts every week because of it

Long Live the 3rd Saturday in October!!!!

You must be going way back in time, considering the last 10 years UT has been winning only 60% of their games. Then again 60% may be considered successful to Tennessee fans. My bad.

Agreed, but I have to add another one.

The Third Saturday in October:

Doesn't care what rival fans think about it, under any circumstance.

See you there, Vols.

Oh, right- another "hate" thread where the emoticon is used in every post, and the opposing teams fanbases pat eachother on the back because Tennessee has no natural rival and Bama's very consciously trying to downplay theirs.
