Petrino has already proven that he is a good coach when he was at Louisville.
Arky is just a shitty place to get recruits to. They're like 1 deep in every position.

Petrino has the injury excuse this year. They lost their DEs and their run game. It's tough to win without being able to run the ball or stop the run.
Mullen is just a terrible playcaller and recruiter, and he hasn't developed Relf into anything close to a decent QB.

my problem with Petrino is this is the second consecutive week that the line was attractive, I bet on his team, and they came out looking poor.
I do actually believe he's a top 15 coach (unlike Mullen). I'm just messing with Arky fans.

Petrino is a great college coach. He should have waited one more year and gone to a major program though. He will never recruit enough talent to Arkansas to win big consistently.

I still like Mullen. Miss State is fortunate to have him, imv.
