Y'all are going to have panic attacks in the Swamp, Jordan Hare, BDS, and Death Valley. You don't know loud.

Maybe Death Valley has changed since the early '90s, but back in those days Kyle Field much louder. Not as dangerous, however, as our fans don't throw glass bottles at other teams band. Of course, we also won 5 in a row before you cancelled the series and didn't pay the $400,000k penalty.

To my knowledge, it's special memorial grass that maintains a constant height and greenness.

bayoubengal, it's not a tradition, that building is a memorial to the men and women from our university who have given their lives for our country. I fully expect to get crap for all of our cultish weirdo traditions, but I would think the meaning of that building would be something everyone in this conference could agree with.

I'd say Ole Miss followed by Mississippi State then Vanderbilt then Kentucky since thats the order the provisional schedule has their schedule for next year.

If you ever come to Columbia (SC), don’t go disrespecting our memorial to J. Marion Sims, the father of American Gynecology. Dr. Sims had to tolerate some stinky stuff to perfect his craft and provide women a better life. Today, it is a tradition at USC for male students to try to perform some of Dr. Sim’s medical research techniques on females residing in the freshman dormitory that bears his name. And as part of the tradition, University Police will escort you away if you’re caught doing this research.

My sophmore year at A&M a fan from another university walked across the grass at the student center. Dante Hall asked him very politely to step back and walk on the sidewalk. The fan continuted to ignore him and within 5 minutes was being driven to the hospital

Get the frick outta here.
Let me know when you actually watch a game at Kyle. I dont doubt those stadiums are loud, but a School with the largest student section in the country that stands and yells the entire game, and we dont know loud?
Get real kid.

Ive been to SEC home games, during some of their NC seasons too, and while A&M does have work to do, you are by no means louder. A&M just needs to be more consistent.

This is what we are going to be building on, especially with an expanding stadium.

I’ve been to the Swamp and Death Valley. They might be intimidating, I will give you that. I will put Kyle Field against any stadium for game day experience and loudness. Don’t judge until you drive down to College Station for yourself. Oh, don’t forget your ear plugs

You mean, when our campus has something to measure for that on campus. If a bunch of fruitcakes in the Pac NW can do it, it loses some of its luster.

Just about one whole side of my family are A&M fans. When I look at them and then look at fans of other SEC schools, I honestly can't tell much of a difference. The only difference is that their southern/cowboy accents are slightly different. You know how they say rice and nice over there. But some towns in alabama and arkansas have these people too. They are less frat but not Ohio State type of less frat. I doubt there is another school outside of Ark, MS, TN, KY, SC, FL, AL, LA that is more "southern" than A&M. Everyone on that side of the family makes pretty good money. The majority contribute a lot to the school. A couple of them even raise longhorns. They are good people. The town looks nothing like an SEC town. It's dry and there aren't really any trees. Everything is light brown instead of green and the architecture is different than any of the SEC schools. I have respect for their traditions, except the damn yell leaders. And I don't really understand the whole cadet thing completely.

I will tell you this, many Aggie fans want to have cheerleaders along with yell leaders, including me. Some of the 'old ags' still like keeping with tradition, but hell if we're willing to move to the SEC, then I say some traditions are meant to be broken.

Also, as far as walking on the grass or taking your hat off at the MSC, well those are military traditions, and anyone, including non-ags, should have the respect to honor any tradition that is memorialized to represent people that have died for our country's freedom.

I am a 3rd generation aggie, but was not in the corp. I also believe some of our traditions are ridiculous, but I will support them as long as they are our traditions.

Another thing I don't really like are the few die-hards that wear painted overalls to the games. you'll see. They look pretty stupid and I personally wish they'd go away.
