I think the State-LSU game this Thurs will be a lot like the Arkansas 2010 game

in Starkville. Merlins rallied the troops then after a tough week with Nick Bell's death & the Bama game and the team kicked Arky in the throat early in what turned out to be a thriller. Like then the team is hurt and their backs are against the wall if there is any chance of this being a better year than last year. The crowd will be even more electric than last year with ESPN in town and it being the homer opener...it's going to be a great game and that will be because State plays well early. Will it be sustained against LSU's depth? I dunno but I don't see this being a blowout.

Could happen. You guys are gonna try and make Lee beat'cha with his arm. Should be fun.

It's good to see that you haven't lost all hope.

I predict a coonass to get knocked out by a cowbell and some redneck to get trache'd by a corndog.

Ware and Ford combine for 175 on the ground. Lee is about to muster 130 through the air. All told, the LSU offense gets about 340 yards and scores in the lower to mid 30's but State and Relf just can find the endzone for more than 17 or so.

I think the offense will do a good job of running up the gut and moving the chains. I think TOP could be a problem for LSU.

I don't. Brock, Freak, and Downs should be able to take advantage of an injured center and free up Baker to make the necessary stops.

If his injury doesn't bother him you're talking about a 4 year starter heading for the draft next April. Brockers/Freak aren't facing some punk bitch across the line.

they sure aren't. I still don't think State will easily run the ball on LSU unless its Relf. And I KNOW he doesn't want to take another beating like he did against Auburn. His body is probably still feeling it and he plays again in just over 2 days.
