Tailgating in LR is 10x better than it is in Fayetteville. That being said, I wish we rotated teams in and out of LR instead of condemning LSU to War Memorial
I think things have gotten a lot closer in the last few years. I tailgate on the hill on the west side of the stadium. shite is

But I know LR has a huge advantage in terms of space and trashy rednecks with no intention of going to/watching the game.
Then this should make LSU fans feel right at home. There is no comparison in tailgating. Anybody can tailgate on the golf course in Little Rock and have a great time. You have to be a big donor to get a spot in the pit at Fayetteville and then it is too crowded in that small area.

You don't want to. Fayetteville stadium/bar scene etc. blows LR out of the water. The only thing LR has going for it is that its surrounded by a golf course that is perfect for mass tailgating.
I was refering to my tailgate spot in Fayetteville in the other post. LR is fun, but I wish we would only play less important games there.

With the likely addition of A&M to the west, would the Arkansas big heads in LR have the A&M game moved to LR in LSU's place?
We really don't want LSU fans in the Nam, The Rock is a more appropriate venue for them.

Markham Hill. Treefort.
Tailgating is getting a lot better on campus. Usually its just good for big games.
Little Rock tailgating is good, I guess. It sometimes gets out of hand.
I don't ever have a problem showing up shitfaced to Razorback Stadium, so I have no idea why anybody else does.

Could definitely happen. Arkansas would be losing a conference home game every season if it does not happen.
From the people I know, they seem to feel like Ark/aTm will not be played in Arlington any longer once they come on the SEC schedule. The pay out was mainly for two marquee OOC teams with a old school SWC feeling. You no longer get that.

I have a different view. I think it becoming a conference game will only increase ticket sales and increase the chances that it stays at JerryWorld.
Up until this year, I felt like that game was getting kind of meh, especially for the ticket price.
Now it has SEC implications, so it will likely be a sellout every year for years to come.

You have to think about how the schedule will be though. If only aTm joins right now, then that will probably mean each West team will not play at least one team from the West each year. Otherwise, the East would have an advantage by having one less conference game per season.
When you figure that in, Arkansas would only have 2 conference games in Fayetteville if that were to happen. No way the UofA powers pull an SEC game from Little Rock in order to play a game out of state.
Right now there are only 3 SEC games each year in Fayetteville and 2 OOC. Keeping that game in Arlington will really cut in to the extra revenue that could be brought in for that 3rd conference game each season. $5mil really is not worth it when you start looking at the big picture.
I would assume that we will still play a game in Arlington, but not aTm. Would be a good place to play TCU in the future.

I'm fine trading Ole Miss to Little Rock for LSU in Fayetteville.
Closer trip for the Oxfordese.
crowd would be closer to 50/50, probably 60/40? I'd be for that.

The first home game I attended (actual first home SEC game) after we started SEC play was against Alabama in Little Rock. Frank had just fired Jack Crowe and Joe Kines was our temporary coach.
Alabama had one bad-arse defense that year.

That's really not an issue. They started making the students pick up their game tickets the week of the game, if I'm not mistaken. Extras are sold the general public.
There'd be over 70k fans every single time.
Most times it would be a sell out.
It would always be many more fans than are in Little Rock.

If we play LSU in Little Rock because the students are gone for Thanksgiving then why do we always play in Fville on Labor Day? Wouldn't it make more sense to play that game in Little Rock as well and play in Fville the next weekend?

I was at that game. Though I was only 9 at the time. I only remember it being a long arse drive.

As long as the LSU game falls on the weekend that it does, it will most likely remain in LR.
