Are night games better to watch than morning/afternoon games?

Florida's got FAU, UAB, Bama, and LSU for night games as of right now. I think it provides a better atmosphere, but I really don't understand why. What you guys think?

I much prefer night games. The atmosphere is better, and it's not nearly as hot. The 2:30 games are okay, because you have plenty of time to go out and celebrate afterward. Everybody is still half asleep/hung over for the 11:00 or 12:00 games.

Once the game starts I like watching the night games better, but I hate waiting all day for game time.

Alcohol is a huge reason why it's a better atmosphere.

It doesn't bother me. I get into all the other games leading up to Bama's, so I can wait. I just hate the days leading up to Saturday.

I prefer the 2:30 game, especially later in the year when the game starts in the afternoon but when it ends the sun is down and the lights are on midway through the 3rd.

I have nervous energy all day waiting for game time. However, I hate 11:00 a.m. games and AU has 3 to start the season.

I prefer night games if I'm going to the game. It's not as hot and I don't feel rushed all day to get to campus, set up tailgate, meet up with friends, etc.

If I'm watching at home, I prefer the 3:30/2:30 slot.

I HATE the morning kickoffs.

If you have the early game and lose, the rest of the day sux. Have to get too drunk to stand the loss and miss the later games.

Yeah, 2:30 game isn't as bad later in the year. The 2:30 LSU game is usually fine. The Bama/UF game last year was freakin awesome. CBS chose that weekend as a double header, and we got the later start time.

Night games in Death Valley, away games, I'm partial to the 2:30 start

ETA: And morning kickoffs suck, we avoid those like the plague in BR

ETA: kids usually have sports on Saturdays in the fall. When the times overlap it's bittersweet

Naw son, you gotta learn to let that shite roll off your back. A few years ago I adopted this mentality that I would never again let a loss affect my mood. It's been awesome.

is it bad to expect the worst for your team so that way if they win big, it's a big surprise for you?

Only silver lining to the early game is that if you win, you can relax and enjoy the rest of the day.

If you lose a night game, its sometimes tough to sleep (which is ridiculous and pathetic, yet true).

nah, i just got 2 friends that i watch games with, one bama and one auburn fan. i don't like to talk trash ahead of time because i know how they can be if i'm embarrassed by a loss to them.
