Are you for real? No UF will not win a championship with Brantley. They will not win it with Muschamp and Weis/whoever is hired after he is canned either. You have to go through the west to win it all, and that ain't happening anythime soon my friend.

That will depend on what we see this year. If Brantley has a standout year (which I seriously doubt) then you could make an argument for it. Statistics favor second year head coaches with good teams for NC.

Meyer should have stayed retired the first time.

I do think Weiss and Will are a good combo.

Weiss is only going to be there a yr or so. He's just doing this till the next big opening comes around.

I concur. Inside word was that Urban knew the first time that his replacement would likely be Bob Stoops, and he would have cleaned house with the coaching staff. Meyer was too loyal with his staff to do that to them and came back so that other options could be exercised in the future, hense the clusterfrick that was 2010 season.

Nah, I actually think he will be around for a while. The guy is not in the best of health so I really don't think being a head coach is in the cards.

I think he may just be happy to be an OC. If all he was concerned about was the big time why would he have left the NFL in the first place?

This. Pretty much wasted a year with Meyer backtracking on his decision.
