What is the pulse of the respective fan bases?
I am sticking by what I said in a different thread - as of last week he was 65/35 Bama. I think he announces for Bama.
I sure would feel better about our chances though if I knew what Jeff Lee's hot board said.

B/C it was considered a 50/50 thing a few weeks ago, but people that I've talked to have increasingly said in recent weeks they feel better and better about Bama's chances. 65/35 is a "more likely than not" kind of percentage, but it does allow for a surprise - which I think a commitment to AU would be.

I really have NO idea at all. I have seen rumors and junk like that but nothing from him really. I figured he was still 50/50. I wouldn't be surprised in his choice either way.

JLee has him at 60% on the hotboard, but he said in another thread that it's very close, but he feels AU has a slight edge. Brian Matthews (247 AU mod) feels Bama leads, but it's a 51/49 difference. In his latest update, he said a source close to Geno told him Geno has not yet decided and will have a family meeting tonight.

I don't know if it is that close, but I know that as it gets closer to time I'll have myself convinced one way or the other - either that we get him, or if I don't hear anything I'll be convinced it isn't good news.

I don't get disppointed about recruits I want at AU till LOI day, but lately the classes have been so good I tend to get over it quickly.
