why would this be the game of the century? They're not even the two best bcs tems of the last decade. btw, i tink texas had a better overall team.

Replace Rozell Gayden with Brandon Moseley..

Chizik coaches for AU during the game? We win
Posted on 8/12/11 at 11:09 pm to taylormade
That would be an EPIC game.

Maybe Century is a little too much..
Entertaining would be the better word..

I think Texas would win, but I don't think these were the two best teams of the decade.
Game of the Century IMO would be 2001 Miami vs either 2008 Florida or 2004 USC

I still maintain that the Texas vs So.Cal game was the best ever. National championship on the line, 2 Heisman trophy winners for So.Cal, winning streak for So.Cal on the line and Texas winning on a 4th down by Vince Young doing what he does best.
Was incredible.

How is 2001 Miami not included in a "game of the century"?

thanks.. TT.. Wiki led me wrong..

and yes Game of the Century was too much..
I just think Cam vs Vince.. Epic battle...
Can you imagine Fairley chasing Vince..

I'd take us against 2005 UT, way before 01 tha U
05 UT vs 10 AU would have been the ultimate matchup, 2 QBs who refused to lose

I don't think UF is the best champion to come out of the SEC. I say 03 LSU and 09 Bama were better. JMHO

Texas wins this game IMO.
