You actually believe that these guys are not guilty?
They were found not guilty by a jury of their peers, just like OJ.

I'm going to go (not very far) out on a limb and say that 98% of all circumstantial evidence-only cases still result in the defendant being found guilty. Juries fricking love to send someone to prison.
That's less true in extremely high profile cases... but, by and large, if you are on trial you are most likely fricked.

In those cases the Jurors are just as money hungry as the criminals and rule in a way to get media attention. No matter what the evidence is. So I guess it might be better for everyone to expect you to be found guilty.

Good thing the judge is setting the next court date next month. Maybe they wont be found innocent by a jury of their peers

The percentage of guilty verdicts based heavily on circumstantial evidence has gone down drastically in the last 10 years. It's a frightening statistic. Wish I could find an article on it but I'm on my phone.

I can see how you'd feel that way but, personally, I don't have a problem with it. I have no problems with circumstantial evidence supporting the prosecution's case. I do, however, have a big problem with circumstial evidence BEING the prosecution's case.

So the next trial is next month, this is what you have written, but I believe that the official statement is more along the lines of:
quote:

The judge is declaring mistrials on the charges for which the jury could not reach a unanimous verdict, and he said he would set a new trial date within a month.
