A&M grad Gov - IMO, unless UT & the UT network go independent, the Big 12 (10) is history - SEC will be the first "Super Conference".
Assuming UT goes independent, who are the other 3 teams?

Would have to assume they would take 2 Big 12 teams. Texas A&M is one and I would hope for Oklahoma even though I think Missouri would be the team. For the east I think go for Georgia Tech and possibly Clemson.

I'm fine with A&M/Mizzou plus two for the east

I'd rather them NOT move current members around

East needs to be FSU. If Miss/Bama can support two SEC Im sure the Gators can share. I don't see GaTech but maybe. Clemson doesn't excite me (another Tiger team ) but whatever

FSU and OU would be a nice pair to add(one per division). I think that would be an instant rival if we force them to continue to play yearly.

If there's one thing I love in this world it's Texas AM threads and horrible misspellings.

O and counting.

You want teams with TV market that also fit the SEC-like fanbase and history. What schools near these cities work?

Here are a few bigger tv makets that come to mind.

16 Miami-Ft.Lauderdale
21 St. Louis
24 Charlotte, NC
27 Raleigh-Durham
31 Kansas City

Texas A&M and North Carolina. We'd never get Carolina, but that would be a slam dunk as far as TV markets and athletics goes.

VaTech is not a fit for this conference

Mizzou is a solid university, better fit academically they add to the SEC

the word "super" in there I took as 16 teams

My guess is Okie heads west since OSU wouldn't be involved
