I like the guy. Ive always blamed his lack of success in 08 and 09 on bad QB play. I think deep down he is fricking with us all

for now im with miles. he isn't conventional but he has won. He might not have won as much as i think we should have but i can put that in the past as it looks like other than clock management stuff he has tried to fix his faults which is all i can ask. He has kept our recruiting at a high level and while we have a difficult schedule this year i think next year sets up really well. so as long as we dont have a complete collapse or ole miss 09 situation im completely for miles for at least the next 2 years. I can live with his quirky bullshite as long as it produces another sec and national title

08 was more poor hiring by miles than qb play. if our d wasn't straight garbage in 08 we would have been a bit better. Im not sure how much but we prob win 1 or 2 more games.

09 once again victim of a bad hire except this one isn't as bad as 08 because at least he did something in 07.

eta:im honestly not sure what the frick miles was thinking when he promoted the assclowns. I refuse to believe we couldn't make a good hire.

just the "fans" that knock him when we lose but say nothing when we win. And we win most of the time.

Like him and have supported him since day 1. He's a great coach and role model.

If LSU would of lost to Tenn., I think we would of called for his head. The man is goofy, but can bring in talented players.
I'm only hoping the lack of offense was Crowton to blame and that Jordan Jefferson can suddenly be a good decision maker. Watch out, if so.

edit: seems to be good at keeping players out of trouble with the exception of the inevitable perrilloux and a few others

He lost me after the Ole Miss spike, but I hopped completely back on after the Alabama game last season. It just showed that an all-Les roster and staff could go against a very talented and well-coached team and win

Miles' record speaks for itself. If you don't support him it is because you just don't like him not because of the job he has done. If we could have gone without the RP off the field issues and not have hired crowton at all, Miles might have another BCS title.

To add to this:

08 and 09 showed us Conservative Les. He lost his Lesticles. I hate Conservative Les. In 10 we saw full fledge Lesticles in the Alabama game. If he coaches that way the ENTIRE season, LSU will win it all in 2011.

I love the dude. He might F up every now and again but he takes chances that most coaches wouldn't dare. I admire that and actually think he is very intelligent. I think he is just messing with everyone all the time.
