Davis had his lowest output in these games against Alabama (42 yards) and had his highest against LSU (152).
quote:

Category No. 5: Good blocking YPA against four SEC opponents with top-30 rankings in rush YPA (Alabama, Auburn, LSU and South Carolina -- chosen because they were the most common SEC opponents from these running backs' schedules)

1st -- Poole (9.45 YPA)
2nd -- Bolden (8.35 YPA)
3rd -- Davis (8.14 YPA)
4th -- Dyer (6.38 YPA)
5th -- Lattimore (5.52 YPA)
6th -- Ballard (5.11 YPA)
My take: According to Joyner's research, Davis was the beneficiary of good blocking on at least 54 percent of his rushing attempts in these games. Davis had his lowest output in these games against Alabama (42 yards) and had his highest against LSU (152). He averaged 98.75 yards per game in these contests.

How many carries did he get against Alabama? By the LSU game he had established himself as THE guy. We were still playing RB by committee during the Bama game.

It is limited to the top 6 from last season. Ingram took carries from Richardson.

Also, Richardson got injured in the LSU game, so his total production is skewed.

No one is slighting Trent. They are just making arguments for the others and using the Top 6 statistics to illustrate.

Ware is better than ALL

Hearing Knile has put on 25-30 lbs and is "faster than before." Hmm... When was someone gained 10-12% of their body weight and gotten better, except maybe Jared Lorezen!

That's nice that you're "hearing" that, but I find that hard to believe. We shall see game 1 though ay? I hope Knile tears it up, he's on my FF team.

Knile Davis is 230ish, clocked at 4.29 handheld which is probably 4.4ish laser and they stopped his bench press max when he reached 435

Jeff Demps grew 3 inches, decreased his 100 yard dash time by .24 seconds (Now almost matching Usain Bolt's world record at 9.72). and gained 20 lbs of muscle.

FACT: Since 1998 Arkansas backs have combined for 2,345,675,786 yards. Triple that of every other SEC school.

Maybe so, but I doubt Trent has added 30 pounds of muscle to what he already has, and has increased his speed and flexibility.

Hearing Ware added 30lbs all muscle and moved 4 mountains with one blink. He also got JC to stop posting on LSU player's and recruit's FB's and twitters just by raising his eyebrow. Now THAT's epic!
