Congrats...I guess.
I wonder how much investigating they did to come up with this conclusion in one day.

It's funny they had to look

The only violation they really were looking for was how he dropped from a five star to a four star.

It's rediculous investigations like this even have to happen. Alabama spent $150,000 on the 2008 Gadsden rumors and slander those idiots from ITAT made up.

Surprise?
Saban has been a head coach at 3 major universities for around 15 years and has yet to be found guilty of any major recruiting violations. What would be a surprise is if it were to be found that Saban pays players and has gotten away with it for 15 years given the microscope he has been under. The guy doesn't need to pay players and considering the talent level he can pull in without cheating, it would be idiotic to pay a kid we don't really even need like Calloway.

At least we can get away with cheating.

Everybody cheats dude, it's no big deal

We do have Bobby Williams on the staff, though.

There wasn't very much investigating to be done. Jeff Lee was kind enough to lay out specifically what they needed to look for, and gave the REC the heads up to go and tie up any loose ends that could unravel our whole cheating empire.

Saban paying players is not even remotely what I'm worried about. Its the moronic boosters who want to feel like they're big time that we have to worry about.

Well, it is the same compliance office that turned itself in over textbooks, so I think they went over every accusation thoroughly. I mean, these type of accusations aren't that difficult to look into.

Our problem is, has been, and always will be guys like Logan Young. Not the coaching staff or athletic department.

I don't think anybody thinks Saban had anything to do with what was alleged about Calloway and FTR I don't think Saban is a cheater. He will push the envelope but I appreciate that in a coach. What will and has in the past got Bama into trouble is some dumbass wannabe with a little coin in his pocket that wants to do his part. This Woodson or whatever his name is may not have done anything underhanded with Calloway but he without a doubt matches the profile. Throw in a grown man that calls himself Peaches and you can see why this particular situation might have raised a few eyebrows.

Real men aren't named Peaches...they are named Patches.

Oh it certainly wouldn't shock me to hear of some booster with a small dick trying to feel important by buying a recruit. It's why Bama has to have what is probably the best funded compliance office in the nation.

That was a quick investigation?
