4 Hogs in battle to fill offensive tackle spots. The probable starters,

Brey Cook and Anthony Oden are getting very, very good reviews so far this spring about their play and their athletic ability. I don't like to see the Hogs play true freshmen on the OL but there are rare exceptions and Cook seems to be that exception. The last true freshman OL I remember the Hogs starting was Shawn Andrews and he was a beast.

I posted a few weeks ago that the Hogs would be better this year on the OL in spite of having to replace two starters, Love and Dominguez, and I was vilified by some poster on here with his, and I paraphrase, “I always here that crap about the new guys being better than the ones that graduated”, etc. But I really believe that to be true base on what is being reported about the four and what I have seen from Cook and Oden in person. In spite of the offensive tackles not having the experience that Love and Dominguez had last year I actually believe our OT play will be better. Time will tell.
