your NC is tainted by pay for play.

Right and so is bama's in 09. You know since you were on probation and still are right now.

Alabama didn't play ineligible players during their 09 championship season (despite an Auburn booster's blatant sabotage attempt against two of Bama's star players). There is compelling evidence that Auburn did.

Most of the Aubie posters in this thread must be sidewalk alums. I refuse to believe that Auburn University could put out such dumb grads.

Why, I am starting to believe Michigan does.

Unfortunately, this^^

Time will tell, only an ITAT homer would argue otherwise.

IF there are tapes of AU using money for a play for pay then that will be entered into evidence as racketeering. It will be public record and the FBI will be required to released to share it with the NCAA. For anyone to say that the FBI is not interested in pay for play then they don't understand the law. Fraud, racketeering, failure to pay taxes,..... add bank fraud if Lauder was laundering the money and you have a very interested law enforcement staff.

The other step is the FBI will meet with the NCCA what they know to help build their case. Then they will share information to connect the dots. It happened in the Means case and could happen on this case too.

Big difference between this and the Means case is the NCAA was on this investigation long before the FBI. Young had been a target for them a long while, but they could never nail him down. The FBI took some of the info FROM the NCAA, but most of it was gathered by their agents. To this day it is believed that the NCAA does not have all of the FBI info on the pay for play case. Again the FBI will not share info with a "Private Organization".

We were on probation, yet our NC is 100% legit and yours will always have a bold asterisk. You won it on the field, so I'd enjoy it too, but it will never be recognized as legitimate when all but one fanbase in college football view it as tainted.

Alabama was/is on probation because some players gave out books. they had already served their punishment and most of the players weren't even on the team anymore then anyways.

Auburn's championship isn't officially tainted but this is a terrible attempt at claiming that Alabama's is.

Dude, lets be honest, 4 football players each gave away about $4,000 in books... they were far and away the biggest abusers... Some of it was a joke, but the school should have known about it.

Can you send me a link to where there is an asterisk next to Auburn's national title? Thanks.

The only facts are that bammer was on probation when they won their title and AU was not. If you have a link that says otherwise let's see it.

This is the biggest pile of horse shite I have ever seen bammers try and spin. That Mr. Anderson guy has nothing to do with AU. Face it two of your players went on cruises on someone else's dime and got away with it. You honestly believe AU tried to "sabotage" bama by getting some old dude to take Ingram and Jones fishing? LOL

Being on probation doesnt taint anything. Paying your QB does.
