The NFL will be more aggressive in suspending players next season for illegal hits, and also could make changes to instant replay and kickoffs.

Ray Anderson, the league's chief disciplinarian, said Wednesday that repeat offenders or players committing flagrant illegal hits will have a much greater chance of being suspended during the 2011 season.

quote:

"Frankly, now that the notice has been given, players and coaches and clubs are very aware of what the emphasis is and we won't have that hesitation," Anderson said. "Everyone will be very clearly on notice now that a suspension is very viable for us and we will exercise it ... when it comes to illegal hits to the head and neck area and to defenseless players."

I'd love to see him try some of that punk shite in the NFL that he did in college. I don't think those grown arse men are gonna just let it fly.

Rules defining a defenseless player will be expanded and now will include eight categories:

• A quarterback in the act of throwing.

• A receiver trying to catch a pass.

• A runner already in the grasp of tacklers and having his forward progress stopped.

• A player fielding a punt or a kickoff.

• A kicker or punter during the kick.

• A quarterback at any time after change of possession.

• A receiver who receives a blind-side block.

• A player already on the ground.

Only a dumbass would think they wouldn't. Fairley plays aggressive that's how he gets it done but him ans Suh were among the best performing DTs to come out of college football the last several years.

sometimes he can be too aggressive which isn't good. It shows a lack of poise.

Suh had a great reputation whereas Fairly would be voted the dirtiest player in college this past year.

They can't hit a quarterback while he is throwing or a receiver during the catch. What's next two hand touch.

"It's not my job to really worry about whether I hit a guy too hard or not,'' Suh said Monday. "I was just going after the ball and trying to make a play, and that's what I'll continue to do.''

During Detroit's 35-27 preseason win against Cleveland on Saturday, Delhomme was running outside the pocket when Suh reached up and grabbed him by the face mask. Suh let go, but then wrapped his arms around Delhomme's head. After that, Suh threw Delhomme to the ground.

According to the rule book, Suh could've been penalized for three different personal fouls.

You mean this clean playing guy? Is that the Suh you are referring to....

The only ones who need to fix their vagina are the Nick haters. he don't give a shite what you think. You just mad he is going to be a millionaire throwing QB's around.

You got some readin' problems fella. My post, which you quoted in yours, was asking if he ever did. I never claimed Suh didn't, he could've done it 8 times a game for all I know.
