At what point will Alabama fans over 40 years of age stop memorializing the Bear and allow Saban to hold his rightful place as Head Coach. He turned your program around, brought home the Crystal-
IMO- you are disrespecting your coach. And a man will only take that so long. Your love and praise for the Bear may be the single reason that would drive Saban away from you
Something to think about

Saban should have gone to MSU to prove that he is legit and to leave a real legacy.

Everyone lives in the shadow of the Bear. Just sayin.

Laughable to think a) Saban cares or b) he'll be there more than 2 or 3 more years

Every head coach in America is living in his shadow.

Couldn't agree more. Saban wins a national title and they build a freakin statue of him. The Bear wins like 10 and they... Just plain disrespectful.

Never. He was a part of our history. Generally you memorialize history.

Please explain how this has not been done. Bama fans shout to the rafters we have the best coach in the country.

Maybe why he's getting a statue? Just maybe?

In what way? You have given no examples of any way we have disrespected coach saban. In fact, the statue would seem to spit in the face of your asanine argument.

Really? Did you type this either sober or with a straight face?

Something you have either not done or are not capable of.

niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice comeback.
gay thread btw. who cares? he's our coach, he's kicking arse, and we are considering starting a religion with him as the Savior figure.

his history had been to stay at a school for around 5 years... he may end up retiring with Bama tho... assuming he's not really going to give the NFL another go

What brought his up again is reading the article on CBS Sports about great stadiums - in the article they mention that the picture of the Bear is always on the Jumbo tron at games
Let the Bear RIP and play ball
