Ziemba - 20 (lowest among OLine that have gone)
Carpetner - 23
Barskdale - 29
Bartholomew - 34 (highest so far)
Interested to see what some of these beasts do:
Julio
Fairley
DJ Williams
Dareus
Justin Houston
McPhee
Drake Nevis
Powe
and, of course, Darvin Adams

I didn't think the players started until tomorrow, but according to Shawn Zobel he lists a few bench results as having already taken place:
Ziemba - 20
Carpenter - 23
Barksdale - 29

I wouldn't expect Houston to do very much, and that's certainly not a knock on him. His strength is speed and technique, not power. He's still a hellbeast of a 3-4 OLB, regardless of how many reps he puts up.

The BP rep test is huge waste of time.
Most people don't even understand how little it means to this sport.

I agree. If a guy can bench 225 pounds 4 more times than another guy, does that mean he is stronger or that he spends more time in the gym?
Hell, can Darvin Adams even bench 225? LOL.

His #1 attribute has always been grabbing jerseys rather than pushing them.

My money is on Houston returning to DE in the NFL. His experience at OLB is very minimal, reminds me of John Abraham out of college too...

Incorrect. There is some useful info to be gained from this drill.
From LINK (you can watch an explanation of what GMs and Coaches are looking for when watching the drill)
Bench press
The bench press is a test of strength -- 225 pounds, as many reps as the athlete can get. What the NFL scouts are also looking for is endurance. Anybody can do a max one time, but what the bench press tells the pro scouts is how often the athlete frequented his college weight room for the last 3-5 years.
