Speaking of Tech, and death threats. I wonder how many that hack Mark Bradley gets from them? I don't give two shits about GT, but I'm about to lose my everloving mind if I have to read one more article about why GT needs to fire Hewitt. It's like two a week. I think Hewitt fricked his daughter or something.

I'm of the opinion that the SEC should cancel the Iron Bowl for next season. I know that 99.999% of fans on BOTH sides don't condone this kind of stupidity, but something MUST be done to stop this sort of behavior, and unfortunately just canceling the series altogether may be the only thing that does it, and even that might not work.

They give away too many corporate tickets. That is why the stadium in the middle of 6 million ppl is always half empty.

Bama is worried about death threats? Hell they've sent death threats to a current signee 1$ to BC.

He hasn’t been convicted, but he did call a nationally syndicated radio show to say that he killed the trees. And that he didn’t care if the act was illegal. Good look to his court-appointed attorney beating that one. In addition, WAAY-TV in Huntsville, Alabama reports that Updyke has been arrested twice before — in 1996 (criminal mischief) and in 2004 (theft).

Tech fans are applauding Bradley for those articles...and Hewitt is gone in like a month.

Nobody is canceling the Iron Bowl. Don't be silly. Someone just needs to burn down Denny Chimes, and we'll call a truce.

Yeah, that makes sense. Just kind of hard to understand why the ajc allows him to continue to put out the same diatribe every week. It's pretty obvious that there is some personal dislike between the two.

It's a fine line... I can see how if the situation was reversed, and it happened at Alabama, I would at least want Auburn fans to feel the same loss for something that was such an iconic symbol of good times. It represented what was good and fun about college football for you, and a man who didn't even go to college would have no respect for that.
At this point, I don't know what Alabama fans could do to try to make something right for the sake of the tradition between the two schools, but when people say all Auburn wants is revenge, it makes me ill. Everyone knows that if someone takes revenge, we are headed down a road of reciprocating vandalism, probably by people who never went to either school.

I think it is BS if some folks are actually giving death threats. That in my mind is worse than the act that jackass did. I have said it earlier we as Auburn fans need to let the law take its course and do nothing in retaliation.
His son will not illicit sympathy from me or others by stating all his health issues. The man showed absolutely no remorse and no respect for the law.
I wanted to add that all day yesterday many AU and Bama fans agreed this is one guy and does not reflect the vast majority of Bama fans are this way. I would expect the same in regards to some angry AU fans who may be giving threats.

A lot of boosters have spent the last year collectiong the funds. I really do think it is happening.
Teh contract was written by teh fired AD who said Tech should just be happy going 7-5 every year.

Really?
The sticker on the Bear and the rye grass incident happened this year. He poisoned our trees the weekend after the Iron Bowl. I don't remember when the jersey incident happened but duct tape is no where near poisoning trees.
