Actually, it's older than yesterday. I suggested it over a month or two ago when someone had said they were dying. Just didn't figure anyone had mentioned it since or thought about it.

As an Auburn fan, would you want them to go ahead and do that? And be able to have a part of history hanging on your wall? Or wait and let it die on it's own and not be able to get anything from it?

They could buy A LOT of recruits with that money.

The trunk of the tree is large enough, that it could be kiln dried and tables made out of it. They could make so much money off it, it's not even funny.

If they're smart. Since they're going to die, if they were smart, they would go ahead and cut them down, make plaques out of the wood, numbered, with the Au Creed burned into them with an Au medallion commemorating the 2010 NC and clear coated. The money making opportunity from this would be astronomical, considering what fans would be willing to pay for a plaque from the original Toomer's corner tree and with the addition of it celebrating the NC this year.

I kinda like this idea. So many trees have been thrown through them in the form of TP. It would be like their way of giving back to Mother Gaia.

Wouldnt making the trees into toilet paper be considered reincarnation?

Also, a piece of wood above the locker rooms door, kinda like the "Win" bar
Actually is an excellent idea.

I can see them using some of the wood to carve statues

Possibly, if they can overcome their primary inclination to "chop"
